Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The month of September is on fire with out of town talent and Saturday is no different. Straight from Germany, famed producer and DJ Niko Schwind joins local legend Mauricio Lopes on the decks at Clubbing. This monthly party has proven to be a success and just keeps getting better. D-Edge’s DJ Lennox warms up the downstairs with a special 80’s set.

Two years after releasing her debut album “Ephemeral”, Tulipa Ruiz presents “Everything Both”. With production by Gustavo Ruiz and string and horn arrangements from Jacques Mathias, the new album is due to hits stores soon. Biquini Cavadão e Nenhúm de Nós (Lapa)
Its a blast from the past as the 80’s invade Fundicao Progresso. Biquini Cavadão is a popular Brazilian rock band formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1983. They are an influential 80’s band that still continue their success until today. Joinging them is one of the most famous Brazilian pop rock bands, Nenhúm de Nós, best known for their song “Camila, Camila”

Clubbing (Lapa)
The new monthly party Clubbing is returns to Leviano in the heart of Lapa. This special edition will feature two special guests of very notable fame. Local icon Mauricio Lopes takes the stage along with German producer and DJ Niko Schwind. Niko Schwind has taken great fame over the years with releases on labels like Autist and Stil Vor Talent. Downstairs warm up with a special 80’s set from D-Edge’s Lennox. Providing support as always are resident DJs Mike Frugaletti and Vivi Seixas. This is one night of music that is not to be missed.

The Duo Deno Group performs this Saturday at Vizta, the charming lounge in the Marina Palace hotel, overlooking the beautiful Leblon beachfront. This group consists of four renowned doctors of Rio. Tonight they exchange their jackets for musical instruments, performing the best of samba and bossa nova.
