Eletrobras and Petrobras Drive Major Corporate Developments in Brazil Today

This Thursday, Brazilian firms Eletrobras and Petrobras advanced their sustainable energy initiatives and international partnerships.

Eletrobras (ELET3) plans to secure up to R$10.9 billion (about $2 billion) through various funding strategies.

Eletrobras is securing R$4 billion from Citibank N.A. and launching R$2 billion in commercial promissory notes.
