Coro Come Culinary Fair Returns to Rio on July 17th

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The culinary and cultural event Coro Come returns for its ninth edition on Sunday, July 17th with food vendors and live entertainment. After successful editions in Aterro do Flamengo and Praça Saens Pena in Tijuca, this edition will take place in Praça Marechal Âncora in Centro, from 12PM until 9PM.

Focusing on the importance of “comida de verdade” (real food) through the demystification and democratization of the gourmet concept this edition will feature forty stalls with dishes and options including snacks, sweets, craft beers, drinks and vegetarian and vegan meals. Everything will be priced up to R$20.

For entertainment programming during this edition, Rio de Janeiro surf/garage/psychedilc band Beach Combers will perform live at 5PM. Rio DJs Calani, Alex Paz, and Recife DJ 440 will spin vinyl during the event.

Additional cultural activities will include “Bandeiras na Praça,” (“Flags at the Plaza”) and experimental artisitc workshop with Anita Sobar; live painting with Miguel Afa; and the project “Poemas Expressos” (Poems Express), with Nathascha Francis.

Following the events on Sunday, the next editions of Coro Come will take place on July 24th at the La Paz venue in Centro and on August 21st at the Circo Voador venue in Lapa.
