“In August 2021, with a recovery of approximately two million jobs compared to August 2020, we are observing that the country in the national total has had a recovery of 82.5 percent of the jobs that had been lost in August last year,” Oviedo explained.

However, if the data is compared to 2019, the country still has 424,000 jobs to recover, since, in August two years ago, there were 22.1 million Colombians employed, compared to 21.7 million this year.
