Chilean airline JetSmart will connect Argentina and Paraguay from November

Chilean low-cost airline JetSmart announced on Wednesday that it would begin operating the route between Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Asunción (Paraguay) from next November, thus constituting another milestone within its growth plan in the region, with the vision of having connected 100 million people by 2028.

“This announcement is very important for us because it reflects in many ways our way of working, our progress and the realization of our purpose, which is to help more people travel long distances, in a short time and promptly, in new and safe aircraft, at affordable prices,” says Estuardo Ortiz, CEO of the company.

With the launch of this new route, JetSmart added Paraguay to the list of countries connected in the region, along with Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Uruguay, adding its 12th international route and completing an offer of 70 routes throughout South America.

“In just six years, we have achieved an important offer throughout the region, and we continue to develop a fleet of aircraft that allows us to have an efficient operation to offer affordable prices so that more people can fly,” explains the executive.

With prices starting at US$77 per leg, the airline will connect these two destinations on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
