Carnaval in Brazil’s São Paulo is confirmed for 2022

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – According to the official schedule for the São Paulo Carnaval, the Anhembi Sambadrome will host the parades for four consecutive days, from February 25 to 28. The following weekend, on March 5, will be the traditional Parade of Champions.

There will definitely be Carnaval in Brazil’s largest city in 2022. So much so that tickets for São Paulo’s samba school parades will go on sale at noon on October 20.

The prices start at R$90 reais for bleachers. Initially, the tickets will be sold only at the virtual ticket offices of Liga-São Paulo, the Eventim platform, and the agency ALK Live Entertainment.

All the preparations for the next edition of the Carnaval were authorized by the São Paulo City Hall on September 15 of this year, after feasibility studies of the event, even though the realization is conditioned to the immunization progress in the São Paulo capital, as well as to the authorization by the public health agencies and the adequacy to the sanitary protocols in effect at the moment.

According to the official schedule for the São Paulo carnival, the Anhembi Sambadrome will host the parades for four consecutive days, from February 25 to 28. The following weekend, on March 5, will be the traditional Parade of Champions. It is worth remembering that, in addition to this event, the city intends to receive up to 15 million people during the celebration (which includes 500 street blocks).
How much do the tickets cost?

All ticket prices can be seen directly on the sales platforms, and there are even options offered at ten reais for the Access Group parades – while boxes will cost up to 32,500 reais for the Special Group days. If tickets are available, a physical ticket office is also planned to open, although only in January 2022.
