Cury announced a remarkable start to 2025 with property launches totaling R$2.8 billion through early March. The Brazilian developer revealed these figures in their fourth-quarter financial report released Tuesday evening.

This performance represents a 47% increase compared to the R$1.9 billion launched during the same period in 2024. The company has initiated 14 new developments across São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, reflecting their strategic focus on these metropolitan markets.

Cury‘s Commercial Vice President Leonardo Mesquita da Cruz attributes this success to their deliberate concentration of launches in the first half of the year. “We historically adopt this strategy of strong first and second quarters,” Cruz explained.

Cury closed 2024 with healthy inventory levels, enabling their aggressive launch schedule in early 2025. The developer’s fourth-quarter 2024 results further demonstrate their market momentum.

Launches reached R$1.4 billion, jumping 63.4% year-over-year, while net sales grew 57.4% to match that figure. Cury reported Q4 revenue of R$1 billion, a 27.5% increase from 2023.

Cury Reports Strong Profit Growth

Net profit reached R$188.9 million, with return on equity improving to 66.3% from 59.6% a year earlier. The company specializes in Brazil‘s economic housing segment. Recent changes to the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program have boosted their operations significantly.

“The new legislation expanded our horizon to work in more central regions,” noted Cruz. Updates to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro’s city master plans have created valuable development opportunities in previously inaccessible areas.

Cury maintains optimism despite industry-wide concerns about housing finance and high interest rates. “We still see very strong demand,” Cruz stated.

Brazil’s real estate sector continues to show resilience in 2025. The construction industry projects 3.6% annual growth through 2028 despite government spending cuts of $12 billion.

The country’s housing index reached record levels in January 2025. Average residential rental yields stand at 5.28% for the first quarter.

Cury’s stock price closed at R$21.49 on Tuesday, 25.82% above its January 2025 low. The company’s market capitalization currently stands at R$6.42 billion, with a price-to-earnings ratio of 9.92.
