RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Argentina, Brazil and Germany were the main countries of tourism issuance to Paraguay. SENATUR’S Tourism Observatory reported the figures for the 2021 fiscal year.
The report states that a total of 94,846 international tourists visited Paraguay, the majority from Argentina (37.7%), Brazil (29.7%) and Germany (5.05%).
Some 4.86% came from the United States, while 4.28% from Bolivia, and 4.24% from Spain.
The document also states that 64,759 people traveled by land and 30,083 by air.
Regarding the economic flow, the report details that the estimated revenue amounted to a total of US$33.291 billion.
