Brazilian singer Anitta announced she would take a break from her musical career after Carnival.

She said she will have only one commitment after the festive period and will take “a nice vacation time.”

“I have a job to do when Carnival ends, but then soon after, I will spend a great deal of time on vacation,” began the artist in an interview with RicTV, an affiliate of Record TV in Paraná.

“I chose to stay a few months without doing anything, and I think it will be very nice and important for me,” she explained.

However, the singer did not reveal the destinations she intends to travel to but assured her that she would be “away for a long time”.

“I won’t tell anyone, and I haven’t even decided yet. I’ve decided on one place or another, but not everything. I will be away for a long time,” added Anitta.
