RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Requests for exports of goods in January -including free trade zones- totaled US$883 million, which implied a 31% growth in year-on-year terms, reported Uruguay XXI. In 2021, foreign sales reached a record US$11.6 billion after expanding 43% in the year-on-year comparison, so the dynamism of foreign trade was maintained at the beginning of this year.
