Colombia is importing more: foreign purchases grew by 56.3% in November 2021

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Imports totaled US$6.5 billion in November last year; this represented an annual growth of 56.3% compared to the same month in 2020, one of the highest in recent years.

This performance was mainly due to the 50.8% increase in the manufacturing group. The other sectors with the highest participation were agriculture with 12.8%, and fuels and extractive activities with 10.4%.
