In these countries you can also go on vacation unvaccinated

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – More and more countries worldwide are returning to the old normal in terms of travel restrictions that have been put in place. You don’t have to show a Covid vaccination or a Covid vaccination passport in the country itself. However, you still have to offer negative Covid tests in some cases.

It has been effectively impossible for many people to travel abroad for vacation in the last two years. In the meantime, there have been some relaxations, but only for those who have been vaccinated with the experimental Covid vaccines – and who could also show a negative PCR test.

Increasingly, however, more and more countries are opening their borders to tourists and removing any restrictions that may have been imposed in the meantime.

The map below, for example, shows that two Nordic countries in Europe, Norway, and Iceland, have already lifted all restrictions on tourists:

On the other hand, Ireland only requires a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before entry. The country itself no longer asks for covid passports. Want to soak up some sun in Portugal?

An antigen test no more than 48 hours old or a PCR test no more than 72 hours old is sufficient.

You can also enter Turkey unvaccinated if you prove that you have recovered or show a negative antigen or PCR test. Although there is a Covid vaccination passport in the country itself, tourists do not have to show it. Lithuania is also completely open.

RELAXED BALKAN COUNTRIES

The Balkans, Slovenia, Hungary, and Montenegro are entirely open to tourists. One does not need proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test to enter the country.

Unvaccinated people can also enter Serbia without any problems if they show a negative PCR test no more than 48 hours old.

Convalescents can also enter without problems with appropriate proof (from certain countries). Similar regulations apply to Albania.

If you are drawn to the Americas, Mexico might be a good destination. Even throughout the “pandemic”, anyone could enter at will without showing proof of vaccination or a negative test (likewise, Costa Rica and El Salvador are entirely open).

For Jamaica, a negative antigen or PCR test is sufficient. However, you will be medically examined upon arrival and may have to wait for the new test result. The Dominican Republic also requires only negative covid tests for entry.

TRAVEL WITHOUT VACCINATION

Experimental Covid vaccination is also not required for travel to Egypt. A negative PCR test took no more than 72 hours before entry is sufficient.

You can also enter the United Arab Emirates unvaccinated if you have a negative Covid test. The same applies to South Africa. On the other hand, Tanzania requires a negative PCR test done within 96 hours before arrival and a rapid test upon entry itself.
