Luis Suarez received a big offer to play soccer in Brazil in 2023.
The striker, an idol of Ajax, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid, leaves Nacional (Uruguay) and will be free on the market after this year’s World Cup.
Gremio’s presidential candidate, Alberto Guerra, confirmed that he had made an official offer to bring Suarez to Gremio in 2023 if he wins the Gaucho club’s election.
Guerra confirmed this in an interview with the program “Donos da Bola”.
Also, according to Guerra, the proposal is made to get Suarez, in Gremio, and to exceed the interest of the LA Galaxy FC, from the US, with the help of investors.
In Brazilian soccer, the name Suarez is gaining importance among the major powers.
Clubs such as Palmeiras, Grêmio, Botafogo, and even Flamengo are associated with the soccer of the great number 9, which confirms the interested parties.
Should Suarez join Gremio, he would be the most important signing for the Gaucho club, which returns to the elite of national soccer a season after being relegated from the first division.
