Columnist reports that Brazilian national team star prevented Gabigol’s call-up to the World Cup

Flamengo's Gabriel Barbosa, known as Gabigol, is known not to participate in this year's World Cup.

Despite winning the Libertadores and Copa do Brasil, the 26-year-old striker on the substitute list was not included in coach Tite's 26-man roster.

And the reason, according to columnist Erlan Bastos, is not the soccer factor on the field but off the field.

According to a report and complete information from the columnist, Gabigol did not go to the World Cup because of Neymar, who would have prevented the athlete from being called up.
