Brazil’s purchasing power has fallen 30% in the last five years

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A survey conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) in April shows that the purchasing power of the Brazilian Real fell by 30% in the last five years. Added to that, the average income of Brazilians fell 8%.
