Brazilian Gol airlines returns to the skies of Paraguay and Bolivia
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Gol Linhas Aéreas has announced the frequencies and schedules of its flights to Asunción in Paraguay and Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia until next August.
On April 9, the airline will resume service to the Paraguayan capital with three direct flights per week from Guarulhos Airport.
On May 5, the Bolivian city will be served with four weekly nonstop flights from Guarulhos.

From August, the number of flights to both international destinations will increase, always nonstop. Asunción will now be served by Gol four times a week (round-trip), while Santa Cruz de la Sierra will be served by five flights a week (round-trip).
According to Gol, this is a time of gradual resumption of international flights, due to the considerable progress made in vaccination in Brazil and around the world, as well as the improvement of favorable conditions in the countries where Gol operates.
Bruno Balan, manager of strategic planning at Gol, explains, “With its tradition in South America, Gol has been serving Santa Cruz de la Sierra since 2005 and Asuncion since 2006, flights that were suspended during the critical period of the pandemic and are now reconnecting Brazil with Paraguay and Bolivia. Starting in April and May, Brazilians traveling on these routes, whether business travelers, vacationers or visitors from family and friends, will be able to take advantage of frequencies that will go “extra” starting in August.
