Brazil once again requires visas from citizens of 4 previously exempt countries

The Brazilian government is reinstating visa requirements for tourists from the United States, Canada, Japan, and Australia.

The decision, taken on Wednesday (8), has already been forwarded to the local embassies so that the countries are notified of the change.

There was resistance from Itamaraty to understanding that there was no reciprocity in the decision.
