Brazil inaugurates Latin America’s first 5G production line

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – On Friday, March 19th, Ericsson inaugurated its first 5G circuit board production line in Latin America. The event took place at the company’s plant in São José dos Campos (SP), and was attended by the Minister of Communications, Fábio Faria.

The 5G circuit boards are a necessary tool to implement and operate the latest generation of mobile internet. With the novelty, Brazil will produce the technology domestically and may even export it.
