Shipwreck off Brazilian coast leaves one tourist dead and two missing
One tourist died and two others are missing when a fishing boat wrecked this Saturday in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of the Brazilian city of Bertioga, in the state of São Paulo (southeast).
According to a press release from the Sao Paulo state police, nine crew members were rescued unharmed after the boat capsized in the early morning.
The tourists, all Brazilian nationals, had chartered the tour boat for a fishing excursion.

“They were returning to return the boat,” said Joao Casagrande, spokesman for the Maritime Fire Brigade, in charge of the search.
The Brazilian Navy joined the search for the two missings, two men aged 64 and 65.
According to Casagrande, the survivors said that heavy waves caused the shipwreck and that several were not wearing life jackets.
