Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Shake Your Quadra will do just that, and get you moving on the dancefloor to some dirty, funky beats. Apavoramento Sound System has put together a night of miami bass, funk, soul, hip hop and a handful of stylish sound and DJs for a night.

Sgt. Pepper Bloco (Lapa)
After the success from the last carnival, the Sgt. Pepper Bloco is back Fundicao Progresso. The phenomenon drew thousands of revelers to the streets of Rio and is now back combining tradition and innovation with a carnival theme. Expect to hear the band mixing percussive rhythms, drums with guitar solos, drum rolls, fills and beats of Samba, Xote, along with maracatu with rock n’roll.
