Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Circo Voador is going to be a funky mess of great music and intense musical rhythms. Orquestra Voadora are the hottest thing floating around Brazil right now, with their keen sense of funk and big- band beats. They have just returned from their European tour and it seems they made some new friends. They are playing host to Les Fines Polletes and Dumb and Brass, two similar-style bands from France. Expect to dance your tail off on Friday, because this show will be one big beat banging good time.

Hometown hero’s Orquestra Voadora are nothing less than spectacular with their blend of big band funk, covering hits from James Brown to Michael Jackson from their 15 piece ensemble. This Friday, however, will be sure to knock your socks off with funk as they invite the France based groups Les Fines Polettes and Dumb and Brass. With all these instruments and funk-filled musicians, the night is sure to be one for the books.
