Revo revolutionizes commuting in São Paulo with high-end helicopter service and uses AI to predict peak demand

Urban mobility company Revo, backed by Portugal’s OHI and UK’s private equity firm Stirling Square Capital Partners, has recently initiated operations in São Paulo.

This new high-end service offers a helicopter commute between Faria Lima financial district and Guarulhos International Airport, covering a distance of 35 kilometers in under 10 minutes, costing R$3,500 (US$715) per seat.

This compares to a similar taxi journey during rush hour that could take up to two hours and cost around R$200.

Revo also provides trips to the Fazenda Boa Vista, an upscale gated community 100 kilometers west of the city, for R$5,000.

President of Revo, João Welsh, highlighted that their focus is on providing a premium, door-to-door service for affluent clients, and so far, the demand has been above expectations.

The Revo app is available on Apple’s iOS, with over 1,500 downloads since its launch.

The company plans to release an Android version in the coming four months.

Reservations can be made via the app, with ground transportation provided to ensure end-to-end service.

Flights are operated by Omni Táxi Aéreo, an OHI subsidiary that has been in Brazil for 20 years.

It has a fleet of 90 helicopters, with about 1,500 weekly flights. The platform, built with a US$5 million investment, uses AI to predict peak demand based on traffic and other factors.
