Local-currency amounts always carry a dollar equivalent, so a real and a peso read the same way.
Honest about the gaps
When a company does not publish a figure, we say so and name exactly what we checked — no invented data.
The exchanges
Each one explained the way the world describes an exchange: who owns it, who regulates it, what it takes to list, what issuers must disclose, how trading and settlement work, and what it costs. Written from the rulebook, not from a data feed.
Eight countries share one exchange. Dominica, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, St Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, Montserrat and Anguilla have no national stock exchange of their own. Their issuers list on a single regional market, the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange in Basseterre, St Kitts. Look for a Dominican or Vincentian company under the ECSE, not under its own country.
Belize, Haiti and Cuba have no securities exchange at all. Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and Curaçao do, and we cover them, though their boards are dominated by offshore funds and holding vehicles rather than operating companies.
