Helicopter crashed in São Carlos (São Paulo); two dead

In the late afternoon of Wednesday (3), a helicopter crashed while traveling to the Agrishow fair, between São Carlos and Ribeirão Preto, in the interior of São Paulo.

The pilot and the copilot died.

Luiz Ricardo Lazarini was flying the aircraft, and along with him was a businessman identified as Eber Carvalho Guilhen, owner of an auto center in São Carlos.

The Fire Department was called around 5:30 pm and was informed that the helicopter was on fire in an area of vegetation on the property, which is on the margins of Engenheiro Thales de Lorena Peixoto Júnior Highway (SP-318), at km 259, between São Carlos and Ribeirão Preto.

According to the corporation, 12 agents with five vehicles were needed, in addition to the assistance of regional police officers, Civil Police, and Samu (Mobile Emergency Care Service).
