Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Wobble is back at Fosfobox for another night of tough breaks and dubstep at Rio’s premier underground venue. The breakthrough party is driven by DJ Rodrigo S and focuses on the chunky funky sounds that make the subwoofers rumble and the ground below you shake like an earthquake. The crew will be welcoming some special guests tonight and doing it in style.
First up on the lineup is Digital Dubs, famed Rio reggae and dub posse that usually comes equipped with their very own “wall of sound”. Digital Dubs carry nationwide fame and have recently returned from a European tour. Also on deck is a very special battle between residents the Marginal Men and guest Sants. You can also expect to hear from Wobble frontman Rodrigo S and guest Vinzzz.

Racionais MC’s (Lapa)
Considered one of Brazil’s most important rap groups, Racionais MC’s return to Fundição Progresso after nine years to put on a eagerly expected show. Their lyrics combine themes of social justice with gangster imagery, a far cry from the idyllic breeziness typically associated with Brazilian rap music.
