Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Run VDG returns for another special edition at the top of the Vidigal mountain. Tonight will feature some of Rio’s favorite house and tech house DJs, as they throw down at one of Rio’s most incredible dance music venues.
If you have not been to a party at Alto Vidigal, then you are definitely missing out. Outdoors and situated at the very top of the hill, you can see all of Rio while dancing to pure unadulterated house music. To kick things off for the night will be local duo Bed & Breakfast, consisting of João Paulo and Marcio Careca. The duo have rocked all the biggest clubs in Rio and São Paulo, as well as holding down their monthly residency and party Bootleg. Headlining for the night will be Frenetik Crew’s very own Rodrigo Correira of the famed Black Sheep parties. His smooth and funky tech house sounds have been rocking Rio for years now. They will all be joined by resident and San Francisco transplant Mike Frugaletti.

Roupa Nova is a Brazilian pop band, who had many hits in the 1980s and early 1990s with a sound that is often compared to the American outfit Toto. The band has sold over 8 million records and had 25 hit singles, ten of which reached number one.

Electronic music will be presented in rare form tonight as top notch DJs throw down at the very top of Vidigal at Casa Alto Vidigal. Resident DJ and San Francisco born Mike Frugaletti invites Cariocas Bed & Breakfast and Rodrigo Correira to the top of the hill for one of the best venues Rio has to offer, overseeing all of Rio while banging the beats till the wee morning hour.
