Councilman is executed in the border region between Brazil and Paraguay
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Councilman Hugo Leonardo da Silva Gonçalves, 38, was executed on Wednesday (29) in Sete Quedas, 467 kilometers from Campo Grande, in the border region between Brazil and Paraguay.
His body was found on a road, 10 kilometers from the urban area, and had pistol shot marks.

Witnesses told the police that the councilman was driving and was pursued. When he realized the situation, he tried to enter Paraguay, but he lost control of the vehicle, overturned, and was hit by shots.
