CNN producer John Griffin guilty of pedophilia charges: he sexually abused several girls, including a 7-year-old
The producer had been arrested in December of last year, but only pleaded guilty this Monday for one of the three complaints filed.
Last Monday, December 12, the producer of the CNN chain, one of the largest defenders of the Democratic government of Joe Biden, John Griffin, pleaded guilty to charges of pedophilia after admitting the sexual abuse of several girls, including a 7-year-old one.
Griffin, who was arrested on December 10, 2021 after being reported by parents, pleaded guilty to interstate commerce of minors and sexual abuse of minors.

The most prominent case for which he pleaded guilty is that of a 9-year-old girl. The CNN producer, who is a native of the state of Connecticut, met a woman named Heather Carriker (who was also arrested) through social media and convinced her to take her 9-year-old daughter to his cabin in the state. of Vermont, where he abused the minor according to prosecutors, in exchange for money.
The meeting took place in July 2020, when she was still working for the CNN production. According to the complaint, Griffin paid Carriker a sum of US$3,000, plus the fare for a flight from Las Vegas to Boston, where he picked her and her daughter up to drive them to their lodging in Ludlow, for which who is also guilty of taking a minor between states for money.
This is not the only victim that Griffin had, but the prosecution accuses him of having contacted several mothers in order to lure their underage daughters to sexually subordinate and abuse them. According to conversations found by justice, he boasted of attracting girls up to 7 years old.
In his pedophile foray, prosecutors have enough evidence for him to be convicted of another case, when Griffin suggested to a woman in April 2020 that she give money in exchange for her 14-year-old daughter to do a “virtual training session” in which would instruct her on how to undress and masturbate while he watched.
Gathering information from different tweets, private messages and conversations with colleagues on CNN, prosecutors showed that Griffin believes that women of any age should be sexually active and subservient to older men.
In yet another case, in June 2020, he also tried to persuade a woman and her 16-year-old daughter to take a trip to Vermont for “sex training,” which included, among other things, unhealthy practices like “belt banging the tail” and “veneration of the penis”. Luckily, it would appear that this woman did not accept the offer, although it is not certain.
The prosecution reported that Griffin sent messages to at least a dozen mothers of girls between the ages of 7 and 15, offering this type of perverse and illegal business. In the messages, he reaffirmed his sick beliefs that underage women are “the dirtiest sluts possible.”
It is unknown why CNN had come to hire such a subject, and it is also not known if his superiors at the news network knew of his sick actions. He had previously been the subject of a lawsuit by a 9-year-old minor for US$15 million, of which CNN was aware but decided to hire him anyway.
After his arrest, he was fired from CNN, and the chain admitted that the charges brought against the now ex-producer are truly disturbing and apologized for having such a person employed.
The producer initially pleaded not guilty to charges of pedophilia and child sex trafficking, but later reached a plea bargain in which he pleaded guilty to one of the charges, to prevent a jury from convicting him on all the charges filed.
On this charge alone, he faces a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life in prison. Everything indicates that he will receive between 20 and 35 years. Little, considering the perversion of his crime.
The agreement also consists of the fact that he must make restitution to the victims in full, in an amount to be determined by the court, as well as sell a Tesla car, electronic items and donate to the victims half of the proceeds he receives from the sale of his house in Vermont and the future sale of a Mercedes Benz brand car.
In turn, he must also face a fine of US$250,000, added to all of the above, and must publicly register as a sexual predator and must undergo psychiatric treatment.
