RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The city of Bento Gonçalves, in the Serra Gaúcha region of Brazil’s southernmost state Rio Grande do Sul, will receive a resort of castles and palaces inspired by the Loire Valley, one of the most iconic regions of France.

The Castelos do Vale development, in the multi-property system, will be the first resort inside a winery in Brazil and should open its doors at the end of 2025.

The hotel complex in the Dom Cândido winery will have 185 rooms divided into thematic castles, a first-floor palace, and a duplex palace with a jacuzzi on the balcony. With investments of R$100 (US$17.5) million, the project is designed to cater to families with attractions for children.

EXQUISITE GASTRONOMY

Besides comfort, the Castelos do Vale resort promises exquisite gastronomy, with themed dinners, international cuisine, and picnics.

Adults will have exclusive wine-related experiences, such as grape picking in the vineyards and tasting.

The lodging system will be optional for clients, who can only hire full board, half board, or breakfast.
