Soon, with the arrival of the Scan Eagle (Insitu), the ship will be able to launch search, scout, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions with remotely piloted aircraft, expanding the range of operational missions and directing the employment of the embarked helicopters.

With the entry into service of the AH-15B ASuW attack vectors, the NAM Atlântico will have a wide range of rotary-wing aircraft capable of performing anti-surface, troop transport, amphibious assault, search and anti-submarine combat, special forces infiltration, and exfiltration missions, among others.
