Brazil’s federal tax collection in November is the highest in 9 years, best result in history
The Brazilian government revenue from taxes, contributions and other revenue reached R$172 billion in November.
The information was released by the Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal), this Wednesday (21), with a real increase of 3.25% compared to November 2021. It was the best result for the month since 2013, when there was an inflow of R$191.494 billion in revenue.
Considering January to November 2022, R$2.008 trillion, corresponding to an increase of 8.80%, and it is the best accumulated collection performance for the period since 2000, according to data released by the Federal Revenue Service.

In October, the result of federal collection had been R$205.4 billion, an increase of 7.97% in relation to September, and the best result for the month since 1995, the year in which the historical series began.
As for revenue managed by the Federal Revenue, the amount collected in November was R$165.64 billion, a real increase of 2.53%. In the accumulated period from January to November 2022, collection reached R$1.88 billion, reaching a real increase of 7.16%.
According to the data, the collection administered by the Revenue, which integrates the collection of taxes within the competence of the Union, was R$165.641 billion, a real increase of 2.53% over November of last year.
Those administered by other bodies, with a large weight of royalties on oil exploration, reached R$6.397 billion, a real increase of 25.99% on the same basis of comparison.
From January to November, still according to official data, federal revenue totaled R$2 trillion.
