Weather contributes to historic soybean harvest in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The harvest of the world’s largest producer and exporter of oilseeds should increase 8.6% this year in relation to last year, according to CONAB.

In Brazil’s soybean fields, machines at full steam are completing an annual harvest that is expected to be exceptional due to the increase in planted area, favorable weather, and higher productivity.

The harvest of the world’s largest producer and exporter of oilseeds is expected to grow 8.6% this year compared to last year, which was already a record, totaling 135.5 million tons, according to the National Supply Company (CONAB).
