Rosa Weber will succeed Luiz Fux, who has headed Brazil's Supreme Court STF for the past two years.
Her deputy will be Roberto Barroso, who was appointed to the STF in 2013 by former President Dilma Rousseff.
The inauguration ceremony will be attended by 1,300 guests, 350 of whom will be from the Supreme Court plenum.
Weber has a discreet profile.
There will be no cocktail party at the inauguration. Nor will there be a traditional dinner offered by judges' associations when there is a change in STF leadership.
She will defend the Court when she sees fit . . .
