Azul Airlines: passenger traffic drops 27.3% in the first quarter

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The largest drop was seen in international flights, with a 90.4% reduction in the number of revenue passenger kilometers transported (RPK).

Despite this, domestic passenger traffic increased in March by 11.2% year-over-year, against a 15.4% rise in domestic capacity (ASKs), resulting in an occupancy rate of 71.7%, 2.7 percentage points below the same period in 2020.
