Brazil Business - Brazil

Brazil is the country where influencers have the most “power”

By · May 9, 2022 · 1 min read

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – In Brazil, 44% of consumers claim to have purchased a product recommended by an influencer, according to Statista Global Consumer Survey. Three years ago, that percentage was 36% in Brazil, where there are the most Instagram Influencers.

According to the Statista survey, in almost all countries where consumers were consulted, the “power” of influencers has increased since 2019.

The only exception was Mexico, where 31% of consumers indicated that they made purchases recommended by social media celebrities this year. That rate was 31% in 2019, according to the Statista study.
