Guedes stated that negotiations for the ratification of the Mercosur-European Union agreement and Brazil’s entry into the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) are “advancing well”.

At the event, the minister once again highlighted the importance of tax reform, especially when the world is seeking investment opportunities. “If not now, tax reform will be the first measure of the second mandate,” he added.
