Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Spring has arrived in Rio de Janeiro, warming things up even more and heralding in a few changes in the nightlife scene at the same time. As such, freshly formed downtown hotspot La Paz will be trying out a new musical format in October, bringing a taste of jazz music to the normally electronica-dominated space.
There are two floors available for your listening pleasure as well as a open air smoking floor, as La Paz helps breathe new life into Rio’s jazz revival. Each week will feature new bands and musicians along with DJ Mustafa, playing the best of soulful house and lounge in between intervals.

Desperados Crew (Copacabana)
Tonight is the premier of Desperados Crew at Fosfobox in Copacabana. The collaboration brings together top DJs from the Wobble Crew, Brazilian Wax and the Nasty parties. Expect heavy beats and lots of dancing.
