Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Satisfaction Party returns to Casa Da Matriz to celebrate the new year once again. This time the group has been baiting the best DJs of their featured parties Popxrock City and they will provided a musical program ranging from pop to rock to headbangers and “Gangnam Stylers”.
This popular party is held at one of Rio’s oldest yet funnest late night venues, Casa Da Matriz in the heart of Botafogo. This house turned party venue has been around since the beginning of the late night scene here in Rio. The party has reached many on the dancefloor over the years, as there is a little something for everyone, featuring DJs Grazzia, Thiago Burgos, Senna, Newton and Djogo.
Gal Costa (Lapa)
Tonight, Gal Costa finally brings her highly praised show “Nook” to the stage at Circo Voador. This is the 13th album of her career with songs written by Caetano Veloso and co-production of Moreno, son of Caetano.

Natiruts (Lapa)
Natiruts returns to Rio from Brasília to play their reggae fused sound at Fundição Progresso. Purchase tickets early as they are a local favorite.

Banda de Ipanema (Ipanema)
The Banda de Ipanamea bloco is usually the biggest of Carnival. Last year accumulating over 1 million people. This year should expect to be no different!

This is a bloco formed by the community residents, with great help from the samba school Império da Tijuca Unidos da Tijuca and members of the region.
