Sofar Rio @ Mystery Location (Cosme Velho) – Celebrate the ten year anniversary of Sofar Sounds by seeing a unique live performance at a secret location somewhere in Rio’s upmarket hillside of Cosme Velho.
Sofar Sounds shows are secret, and they don’t release the identity of the bands or performers before the event. The address of the location is only revealed 48 hours before the event and only to confirmed participants, but you are almost guaranteed to enjoy this musical adventure.
This Sofar Sounds event will be starting at 7 PM in the neighborhood of Cosme Velho, with three to five bands or artists playing a set of around twenty minutes each. Tickets start from R$44.

Latin Party @ Pub Kriok (Lapa) – Lapa’s most popular party is perfect for anyone looking to inject some Latin energy into their midweek.
The night has an open bar of beer and caipirinha until midnight. And after that, there’s two-for-one on caipirinha and catuaba until 1 AM, with DJ Slim and DJ Muchacho Malo pumping out some of the finest reggaeton, funk, and pop until the early hours.
The party starts at 11 PM and is free until midnight if you put your name on the event wall; otherwise entry is R$20 all night.

Sambe Como Uma Mulher @ Ganjah Lapa (Lapa) – Come and samba like a woman at Ganjah Lapa, with a group of ladies who certainly know how.
Witness an exciting group who are subverting the usually male-dominated genre of samba in an evening of vibrant live music celebrating the best of Brazil and all its female sambistas.
Tickets are between R$10-R$15 and the night starts at 8 PM.

Casa Momus (Lapa)
Run by two Italian expats, Momus is worth the visit for its interior design alone. Among this fancy bar’s highlights are its classic Bloody Mary (R$27), Pisco Sour (R$28) and Negroni (R$28).

Flashback (Ipanema)
Flashback is a high-end restaurant with plenty of classical music and photos decorating the walls. Tonight, between 7 PM and 9 PM, the restaurant will offer a happy hour with two-for-one on caipivodkas and Stella Artois. The caipivodkas are made fresh with lime, strawberry, or passionfruit as well as additional herbs for extra taste.
