Noite do Bem Bolado (Lapa) – Circo Voador is hosting the Noite do Bem Bolado this Friday.

The party will bring to Circo’s stage live attractions such as Noites do Norte, Carnival bloco Agytoê (photo), Sexteto Sucupira. DJ Tales Mulato will play Brazilian rhythms in the intervals.

Pede Teresa (Centro) – Pede Teresa’s lively roda de samba is back to Praça Tiradentes this Friday.

Forró de Bamba (Lapa) – It’s time for some live forró music at Clube dos Democráticos, in Lapa.

Trio Juazeiro celebrates its 53rd anniversary tonight, making everyone dance until the late hours with traditional forró. DJ Márcio will spin Brazilian music during the intervals.

Bartman (Flamengo)

Casa da Cachaça (Lapa)
This cultural heritage site of Rio de Janeiro was the first cachaçaria to open in the city, back in 1960. And by the look of things, they’ve been busy ever since, with over 200 cachaças piled up the walls and hanging from the ceiling. The regular caipirinhas here are a great value and pack a punch. For an interesting twist, try a flavored shot, such as the açaí-infused cachaça.

Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat who has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national and international favorites.
