Pan-American Forum of Young Politicians: the right-wing event will be held in Buenos Aires in June

The first Pan American Forum of Young Politicians will be held from June 1 to 3 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), Argentina.

A space in which young leaders of the Americas will be able to share, through debate, their views on the region’s main challenges and defend Western values and democratic principles threatened by the left’s advance.

The event will culminate with the presentation of a final document, the “Charter of Buenos Aires”, which will reaffirm the commitment to safeguard freedom, the rule of law, and private property.

“The First Pan American Forum of Young Politicians will be the counterpart of the São Paulo Forum and the Puebla Group.”

“Our purpose is constructing a free, secure, and prosperous America,” said Enzo Di Fabio, general coordinator of the Pan American Forum of Young Politicians.

Originally organized to take place in Ecuador, it had to be moved last year to Colombia after a crime wave broke out and President Guillermo Lasso declared a state of emergency and placed severe restrictions on entry to the country.

However, with the victory of the communist Gustavo Petro, with death threats to the organizers and warnings that there would be strong demonstrations to prevent the event in Bogota, it was finally decided to hold it in a country that today is a focus of hope for the region: Argentina.

In the Federal Capital, the event will be attended by relevant personalities in the hemisphere’s political sphere.

Among other young politicians, communicators, and referents are:

• Carlos Portinho, head of Bolsonaro’s bench in the Brazilian Senate;
• Rick Loughery, president of the Youth of the Republican Party of the United States;
• Colombian senator Paloma Valencia, a key figure of former president Álvaro Uribe;
• Mariano Caucino, former Argentine ambassador to Israel and Costa Rica;
• Karina Mariani, journalist, columnist, and reference to Argentine liberalism;
• Francesco De Giuseppe, councilman and vice-president of the Fratelli d’Italia Youth;
• Nicolás Massot, PRO councilman of Tigre;
• Boglárka Illés, deputy and ally of Hungarian president Víctor Orbán;
• Francisco Sánchez, PRO national deputy of Neuquén.

There will be panels where the guests will speak on different topics, including the most influential issues.

There will be a debate on the political chessboard in Latin America, the strong resurgence of the São Paulo Forum in the region, the great feat in Chile in rejecting the communist Constitution, and the model to be followed by the right-wing in Hungary.

Legislators from different right-wing parties worldwide will speak about their experiences in forming movements that can compete with the left-wing establishment.

There will also be a panel on the media and the propagation of fake news as a tool to install narratives.
