Dollar drops below R$5 for the first time in more than 2 months

On Tuesday (11), the dollar lost value with the result of the National Wide Consumer Price Index (IPCA) below market expectations.
At 2:20 pm, the US currency was down 1.19%, quoted at R$ 4.9919. At the day’s minimum, it reached R$4.9894.
At the same time, Ibovespa, the main index of the Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3), was up 4.28%, at 106,203.64 points.
