RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Gol (GOLL4) released its operating forecast for December showing that total demand (measured by passenger-kilometer carried, RPK) increased 15.2% in the fourth quarter compared to the same period in 2020.
The supply (seat-kilometer offered, ASK) rose 13% between October and December over the same period in 2020.

The occupancy rate in the fourth quarter, in turn, advanced 1.6 percentage points to 82.6%, while takeoffs rose 22.3% and total seats grew 19.8%.

Considering December data only, total demand (RPK) increased by 14.7%, with an occupancy rate of 81.9% (+0.9 p.p.), while total supply (ASK) grew 13.4%.
Consolidated total seats grew by 20.9% and the number of takeoffs by 21.7% in December.
In the domestic market alone, supply (ASK) increased by 11.4 % and demand (RPK) grew by 12.6%. The domestic occupancy rate stood at 81.9% (+0.09 p.p.). The number of takeoffs increased by 20.6% and the total number of seats grew by 19.9%.
Finally, in the international market, supply (ASK) totaled 64 million, demand (RPK) was 51 million, and occupancy was 80.1% – both cases in a year-on-year comparison.
