RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Federal Police Inspector General’s Office has forwarded a recommendation to all units, indicating that the agency has established guidelines for police officers to be administratively punished for misconduct or use of the Federal Police’s institutional badge or image on social networks.

According to the document, reports of inappropriate use of the “badge, symbols, or institutional image” should be analyzed by the internal affairs units.
