Brazilian police disrupt plan to get PCC drug traffickers out of jail

In a statement, the corporation reported that the operation, called "Guardian Angels" aims to "dismantle the rescue plan for criminal organization leaders imprisoned in prisons in Brasilia and Porto Velho (state of Rondônia, north)."

The plan relied on a communication network established between lawyers, who extrapolated their legal activities and acted as a bridge between the demands of the imprisoned leaders and the criminals involved in the rescue plan.
