After negotiating for months, federal congressmen Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI) and Luciano Bivar (União-PE), presidents of PP and União Brasil parties, are close to closing a deal for the two acronyms to integrate a federation.
According to PP sources heard by Revista Oeste, "very little" is left to conclude the agreement between the parties.
The merger should be confirmed in March, a little after Carnaval.
The agreement will allow the parties to keep their initial structures but to unite in a consortium that obliges them to have the same position in the National Congress.
