At the end of 2021, the unemployment rate in Argentina was 7%

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Argentina reached its lowest unemployment rate since 2016 and recorded a strong 3.5% increase in the employment rate from 40.1% to 43.6%, the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec) reported Wednesday.

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the employment rate reached 43.6% of the population. It had failed to reach more than 43% since the series began in 2016. The unemployment rate also fell to 7% of the employed population (EAP), the lowest level since 2016.
