Brazilian States that are world champions in soybean production

At least four Brazilian states have harvests equivalent to those of the world champion countries in soybean production.

The information comes from a Western survey of the United States Department of Agriculture data.

On the list of Brazilian states that are world champions in soybean production are Mato Grosso, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, and Goiás.

Goiás has the smallest harvest estimate: 12.3 million tonnes.

Even so, the volume forecast for Goiás exceeds the projection for India's harvest: 12 million tonnes.

Indian production is in fourth position in the global ranking.
