Omicron: Argentina, Bolivia, and Uruguay break Covid-19 case records

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Ministry of Health of Argentina registered on Wednesday 95,159 new cases of coronavirus, a record number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic. Uruguay also registered its highest number, reporting 5,330 new cases of covid-19 infection in 24 hours.

Argentina's health agency reported 52 deaths from the virus on Wednesday, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic to 117 . . .
