VisionWare launches cyber threat analysis center in Cape Verde
The Portuguese company VisionWare launched last week, in the city of Praia, in Cape Verde, a center for the analysis of cyber-threats to world security, which already has 10 specialists who will infiltrate the underworld of cyber-attacks and take action.
“We work in an area that is very much on the wave curve and we are forced to constantly evolve. What we have been doing in the last two years, namely after this huge number of cyberattacks, was to create an intelligence team that is constantly monitoring both the internet underworld and some groups of cybercriminals”, said the director of VisionWare, Bruno Castro.
The official made it known that VisionWare’s presence in Cape Verde, for more than a decade, “has been a success,” being always on the lookout for opportunities to expand security monitoring in the archipelago and act worldwide.

With work in many other countries, the cybersecurity consultant says he sees the archipelago as “an excellent case study” for the world, due to its ability to meet the best that is done in Europe.
According to Lusa, with the creation of the center, VisionWare, which is accredited by NATO in information security and cybersecurity solutions, intends to obtain information, if possible, in real time, to recognize a cyber attack when it happens, and to know who the authors are, their motivations, among other data, in order to respond quickly.
